About us
Bart and Els. A former racer who spent eight years as a WorldTour mechanic, and a care worker with 25 years of experience. Both adventurous, both happiest outdoors — in the forest and by the lake. The two of them are there, weekend after weekend, at our meeting and service point.
Bart Vrancken
A continental pro rider in the nineties, later eight years as a WorldTour mechanic: Wanty-Groupe Gobert, Lotto Soudal and Dimension Data, which went on as NTT and Qhubeka. Rides at the front, draws the routes and is in the workshop every evening. His emblem is on the jersey.
Els Willems
25 years as a care worker. Spends the whole day at the service car: the bags, the supplies, the shakes — and always first aid when it's needed. Takes the photos that are in the group two hours after the ride.
Why Småland
We are both adventurous people. We love nature, forests and lakes, and we chose this region because here you are on gravel from the front door and in the water after the ride. That is what we want to share with you for a week — well organised, without it becoming a factory.
What we promise — and what we don't
- We promise four guided riding days, three dinners at our meeting and service point, daily fika at Filmbyn, a service car that rides ahead of you, a mechanic every evening and routes that are measured.
- We don't promise the car can be in two places at once. A crash, a major mechanical or an accident comes first; everyone else is picked up at the end of the ride or through the guide.
- We quote no figure we haven't measured ourselves.
